Forthcoming Participated in the DUT Projects Event 2025

The Forthcoming consortium took part in the DUT Projects Event 2025, an annual gathering that brings together project teams from across Europe to exchange knowledge, explore synergies, and strengthen collaboration in sustainable urban development. The event was hosted under the DUT Partnership framework, which is supported by the European Union through the European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT).

This year’s programme included presentations, project showcases, thematic discussions, and collaborative sessions designed to highlight the progress and impact of ongoing DUT-funded initiatives.

The project was represented by:

• UPM, attending the event in person (represented by Andrés)

• HCU, joining the programme online (represented by Jennifer)

Both teams actively contributed to the discussions and engaged with fellow DUT project groups to identify opportunities for future exchanges and shared research directions.

Event Highlights

The online sessions brought together around 30 active participants, featuring presentations from the 2022 and 2023 project cohorts. These sessions allowed for an in-depth understanding of the thematic intersections between ongoing projects in areas such as mobility innovation, social inclusion, the 15-minute city concept, and resilient urban planning.

All presentation slides from the event were shared with participants and are available upon request for dissemination purposes.

One of the most valuable components of the programme was the collaborative “virtual workbook” session, where each project team contributed key insights on:
